Brown trout are very active at Lake Wallenpaupack in spring and fall. Trolling and casting spoons are effective during the daytime.
In early morning and evening pay attention to the weed edges to find smallmouth bass. Try to use tandem spinnerbaits or prop lures. During midday it is a good idea to use Rat-L-Trap or crankbait in deep weed lines.
In October and November most striped bass are caught with stickbaits or troll crankbaits.
The peak period for walleye fishing at Lake Wallenpaupack is from May through June. Live herring is a good bait.
