Fishing season for landlocked salmon is open from April 1 to September 30 at Shubenacadie Grand Lake. The bag limit is 2 fish no smaller than 35 cm and no bigger than 63 cm, measured from the end of the nose to the fork of the tail. It is no longer required to tag landlocked salmon between 48 cm and 63 cm.
Chain pickerel fishing season is open from April 1 to October 30 here.
Fishing for smallmouth bass is open from April 1 to October 31 here. The bag limit is 5 fish per person.
