Narrabeen beach does not service people with access needs.
There are constantly shifting sand banks and gutters where bream and salmon hide. Bream are also active near the rocks.
With the help of beach or blood worms you can easily catch different fish species. Pilchard pieces, whitebaits, prawn or squid strips are also good baits here.
The best fishing time is early morning or late afternoon. Heavier lines of 15lb – 30lb, and longer more powerful rods in the 12’ – 14’ range are most effective for the night fishing on the territory of Narrabeen beach.
A gang hook with pilchard as a bait is the best option for salmon fishing. Use live mullets, fresh yackas or squids to catch jewies.
Z-Man 5” and 7” Scented Jerk ShadZ or Slim SwimZ work great here.
