Fishing season for Atlantic salmon is open from April 15 to May 15 at the Miramichi River. There is the daily hook and release limit of 5 fish. Fishing for Atlantic salmon is restricted to fly fishing only.
Fishing season for brook trout is open from May 1 to September 15 here. The daily limit is 5 fish only 2 of which can be over 30 cm. The minimum size limit is 10 cm.
