Bass can be found in the northern and the southern portions of Lake Conroe. Pay attention to the shoreline, docks stumps and brush piles.
In the early morning, evening and night catfish usually swim in Cagle Recreation Area and near Lake Conroe Park. In the daylight hours catfish move to deeper waters and hide in underwater ledges and dropoffs.
