Unique method of predicting fish activity.
Fishing forecast is a unique method of predicting fish activity levels developed in collaboration with ichthyologists and professional anglers with 20+ years of experience.
It is based on accurate weather data and factors affecting the behavior and activity of fish: atmospheric pressure, wind speed and direction, humidity, precipitation, the amount of sunlight, and others.
We know from experience that a six-hour interval will get you the most accurate fishing forecast possible.
This is because fish can be affected by various weather conditions with varying duration and speed. That's why we use four times of day:morning, afternoon, evening, and night.
Here's an example: you can have a sudden change in atmospheric pressure that lasts at least 3-5 hours. If it's less then three hours, it can be considered a fluctuation that won't have any major effect on fish behavior.
Our app also features a details hourly forecast.
The first section shows you the maximum fishing score and the best time to fish:
How much the fish are biting is shown in three ranges, each with its own color:
76-90%
— excellent bites40-75%
— average bites10-39%
— poor bitesThe fishing forecast ranges from 10% to 90%. This is because there's no way to account for everything that could possibly affect your chances of catching fish (using the wrong gear, lack of experience, etc.).

to get detailed info about factors that can affect how much the fish are biting:
Since fish are mostly cold-blooded, their body temperature depends on the temperature of the environment — that is, water and air.
Each fish species has its own range of comfortable temperatures that are favorable for biting.
At the minimal level, fish become sluggish and stop feeding.
At the top of the range, they may have a hard time breathing.
The most obvious effect that wind has on bodies of water is the formation of waves.
Waves increase the murkiness of the water and create streams of water containing food objects, thus activating the fish.
It is important to understand that strong wind creates complex conditions for fishing.
Wind direction can be used to predict imminent weather changes since it directly affects the movement of air masses.
Cold or warm fronts can change the air temperature and cause rapid changes in the atmospheric pressure, which, in turn, affects fish behavior.
Southern and western winds bring gusts of warm, low-pressure air coming from the southwest.
Northern and eastern winds bring cold fronts and high-pressure air masses.
Professional fishermen know that pressure is one of the most important factors affecting fish behavior.
Changes in the atmospheric pressure affect water density. The higher the pressure, the denser the water gets, and vice versa.
In either case, the fish is forced to find the most comfortable depth, and it affects its feeding activity. It's also when the fish undergo a short adaptation period and stop feeding altogether.
Fish behavior is largely affected by the amount of sunlight, which depends on cloudiness and precipitation.
Rain brings a large amount of nutrients, which is why cloudy days with intermittent rains drastically change fish behavior and increase the chance of a good catch.
Low lighting makes it harder for predators to hunt. Good lighting conditions, on the contrary, make it harder for non-predatory fish to evade attacks, causing them to move to higher depths or hide in the shade of trees and bushes.
This method uses 8 weather factors (parameters) and 41 metrics. All of them are considered collectively, i.e. you cannot rely on a single factor.
